Arsa is a beautiful and introverted eighteen-year-old girl who lives on the island of Stromboli, in a house overlooking the sea, from which she observes the arrival of tourists. She leads a solitary life, collecting debris washed ashore and giving it new life in her original and personal artistic studio. Her life changes when a group of young people arrive on the island and rent a house near hers. One of them, Andrea, fascinated by Arsa, tries to enter her world and discovers one of her most intimate desires.

With Arsa, the artist duo MASBEDO sign their second feature film: a poetic and sensorial tale where Stromboli itself becomes a character. The film explores desire, solitude, and the clash between distant worlds, carried by powerful sound design (Marco Saitta) and evocative cinematography (Gherardo Gossi).
