Friday July 26, 8 p.m at Villa San Michele

On Friday, July 26 at 8 p.m., Villa San Michele will host the fifth event in the concert series "A Summer to Dream."
The evening will feature soprano Johanna Wallroth, mezzo-soprano Rebecka Wallroth, and pianist Magnus Svensson who will perform well-known arias, transforming the enchanting terrace of Villa San Michele into an opera house. The program will include works by W. A. Mozart, Giacomo Puccini, Gioachino Rossini, and Vincenzo Bellini.

Museum director Kristina Kappelin emphasizes the significance of this concert series, stating, “The concert season, with its varied program featuring both Swedish and Italian artists of high and recognized talent, enables us to attract a diverse and increasingly young audience. The upcoming concert will feature the versatile pianist Magnus Svensson, along with the renowned Wallroth sisters, who are stars on the world opera stage.”

The concert series will continue every Friday until August 9, with musical guidance from Bo Löfvendahl, supported by Progetto Piano and the patronage of the Embassy of Sweden.

Due to high demand, reservations are essential.
Tickets (concert price €20.00; reduced price for children and students €10.00) can be purchased at the box office half an hour before the event or in advance daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
