Villa San Michele needs your support
for the first time since Axel Munthe’s death in 1949, the museum and garden of Villa San Michele are closed to the public. The reason it the Corona virus pandemic. All cultural institutions in Italy have been locked down since March 8 due to a government decree, and we still don’t know when we will be able to open up to visitors again. We miss you!
Andrea Bocelli visits Villa San Michele
After having recently read “The Story of San Michele”, world famous singer Andrea Bocelli decided to visit the home of its author Axel Munthe, Villa San Michele at Capri. The visit ended with a spontaneous private concert.
