The best female opera singer of 2018 is the Swedish soprano Malin Byström. She recently received The Opera Award in London, a prize which is the opera world’s equivalent of an Oscar in the world of film. Her interpretation of the title role in Richard Strauss’ opera Salome at the Royal Opera House has been internationally acclaimed this year.
We are therefore particularly proud to announce that she will sing at Villa San Michele this summer in our concert program ”Concerti al tramonto”. Malin Byström’s performance, a world class event, is scheduled for June 29.
